Connector for data exchange between models with matching parameter characteristic.
1. Purpose of Model
Providing a connector for the exchange of the parameters for pressure, mass flow rate and specific enthalpy between the models of the StaticCycles package
2. Limits of Validity
Connectors only should be used within the StaticCycles package.
3. Interfaces
The SteamSignal connectors provide following variables for the data exchange between single models:
- Pressure p
- Specific enthalpy h
- Mass flow rate m_flow

5. System Description and General model approach
The SteamSignal_red connector is used as an inlet port in case of:
- The values of the mass flow rate are computed or set by parameter internally and are provided for neighbour components
- The value of the enthalpy and pressure is determined externally and is provided by neighbour components.
The SteamSignal_red connector is used as an outlet port in case of:
- The values of the mass flow rate are determined externally and are provided by neighbour components
- The value of the enthalpy and pressure is computed or set by parameter internally and is provided for neighbour components.
6. Remarks for Usage
Components can be connected via the SteamSignal connectors if they have the corresponding inlet and outlet ports with matching colour.
